Furniture Decorating
Diligent Designs is proud to be a part of the FurnitureDecorating.com's visual and stylistic overhaul. The Site was already created with a very basic 2 tone template style. We then designed a pallette to use throughout the site, researching contemporary interior design and decorating trend.
FurnitureDecorating.com is an online community that takes everything you love about furniture magazines, furniture forums, furniture blogs, and decorating websites to become the source of home furniture and interior design news. The Furniture Decorating directory, is also a great resource for local furniture businesses, manufacturers and customers to find exactly what they need.
Furniture Decorating has a multitude of functions and parts each needing planning and design. Since most of the site was built the Drupal Content Management System, major block placements were already in place and most work had to be done using Cascading Style Sheets and images.
After deliberation we decided to move a few major blocks to help create a more user friendly experience and the navigation process was simplified with colors.
